Cuarto Magno, la agrupación fundada en Valencia, estado
Carabobo en 2007 y conformada por Tony Véngala en la batería, Bryan Millán en
el bajo, José Alejandro y Cesar Gauna en las guitarras y Chichi Benítez en la
voz, inician el 2013 con buenas noticias preparando el lanzamiento de su primer
disco que llevará por título “Armagedón”, el cuál pronto estará a la venta en
las discotiendas del país. Como abreboca, la banda lanza su primer sencillo
homónimo.
“Describimos esta producción como el resultado de
inquietudes por las problemáticas existentes en la esfera social del mundo
entero, teniendo como norte un mensaje para aquellos que como nosotros
solicitan un cambio en la actitud del ser humano hacia su prójimo, sin
complejidad, queriendo hacer valer por encima del odio la esperanza y la fe”,
expresó el vocalista Chichi Benítez al referirse a la dirección musical del
disco.
El disco promete convertirse en una de las producciones más
completas e interesantes dentro de la escena del rock venezolano, especialmente
para aquellos seguidores del metal. Para la agrupación, “Armagedón une
influencias musicales que se pasean por el heavy metal, el Thrash Metal, el Power
Metal, el Metalcore y el Groove Metal”.
El tracklist del disco lo conforman: (01) Fieras
hambrientas, (02) Ladrones de almas, (03) Armagedón, (04) Ambición, (05)
Indeseable, (06) Rey cruel, (07) No hay espantos, (08) Virus, (09) cenizas y
10) Justiciero.
En relación al futuro de Cuarto Magno, Benítez comenta que
entre sus “planes está principalmente el participar en las plazas más
importantes del país, así como en los mejores festivales, para luego pasar a la
etapa de grabar el segundo disco del cual ya tenemos algo adelantado”.
