THUNDERHELL se crea en 2006 por Joel Barranco y Juan Betancourt con el fin de iniciar un proyecto con estilos THRASH y SPEED METAL, con influencias de Pantera, Motorhead, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, entren otras, además de Black Sabbath, ZZ top, Jimi Hendrix y demás clásicos.
Con Joel en la batería y Juan en la Guitarra, se integra Carlos Sardinha en el bajo y Daniel Loaiza en la voz, teniendo su primera presentación bajo el nombre de THUNDERHEAD en el Festival de Bandas de Ingenieria Universidad de Carabobo 2006, quedando de primer lugar.
Luego, con tan solo una presentación Carlos decide retirarse de agrupación y Daniel pasa a tomar el puesto de Bajista / Vocalista y ya bajo el contexto de Power Trío el nombre de la banda cambia a THUNDERHELL, realizando así la grabación de su primer demo “Southern Whorehouse” en 2008.
Para el año 2010 THUNDERHELL hace público el primer EP titulado “HATE” que cuenta con 4 temas como “HATE”, “HELL ON EARTH”, “MURDERER” y como bonus track “SOUTHERN WHOREHOUSE”.
Actualmente la banda se encuentra trabajando en la producción del primer álbum en estudio y de igual manera dando presentaciones dentro y fuera de Venezuela.
THUNDERHELL está integrada actualmente por Daniel Loaiza en el Bajo y Voz, Juan Betancourt en la Guitarra y Coros, y finalmente Joel Barranco en la Batería.
